For the past decade, breakthroughs in Ribo-seq and proteogenomics have fundamentally shifted our understanding of how RNA translates. We now know the transcriptome holds a vast, untapped repertoire of previously unannoated (i.e., non-canonical) open reading frames (ORFs). Unlocking this "dark proteome" is the next frontier for life-changing biomarkers and therapeutics.
Bridging the Gap:
Despite its potential, mapping the translatome remains technically complex and siloed. To bridge this divide, the Non-Canonical Proteome Project and the TransCODE Consortium are proud to present our inaugural Summer School in Singapore (September 24–26 2026).
Day 1: Ribo-seq Focus – From experimental design to computational ORF calling.
Day 2: Mass Spec Proteomics – Detection of "peptideins" and spectral validation.
Through world-class lectures and hands-on training, we are catalyzing the next generation of fundamental discoveries and translational outputs.
